Developed Products

ISI has developed the following computer-aided design tools:
-Computerized systems and methodologies for designing the integration of products, operators, machines and materials. These tools allow obtaining serial production systems whose efficiencies satisfy the target market. They support the re-design of a current manufacturing system or the design of a new manufacturing system required by the industralization of a new product.

-Computerized systems and methodologies for designing the integration of distributed working procedures. These tools allow obtaining procedures that satisfy the efficiency required by the target market.

-Computerized systems and methodologies for measuring the performance of manufacturing systems.

-Computerized systems and methodologies to convert a high-level manufacturing strategy in terms of performance mesures and goals for the operators.

-Computerized systems and methodologies for planning and controlling the implementation of manufacturing system improvements.

These computer-aided design systems utilize artificial intelligence, simulation and evolutionary algorithms. They are regularly fed with data from operations management practices applied by real firms. This data is obtained from industry surveys done by ISI.
